"I can get a Stafford loan for graduate work online? For a foreign school if you have a recognized code for FAFSA?
Am looking for a divinity school really respected affiliated with University of Melbourne. The university itself has a code of school recognized by the FAFSA, but be a foreign school has no accreditation of America. It now offers an online master's program. I read somewhere that most programs online do not qualify for Stafford loans anyway. The reason you need this particular program is that I am raising a child and should keep working time complete, so online is really my only practical option. And although there are online programs in theology in the States, all I've seen (and I've been looking over three years) are either diploma mills or Bible schools. Nor do they want or need. This is a school of respect, and a degree of it help me to get in a doctoral program over time, which is my goal. Does anyone have any idea how I can finance this? I would be grateful for any advice!
You can get federal aid for online graduate programs (I did). I do not know if the fact, is a theology degree will lead to problems, some programs do not pay for theology degrees. The best place to check would be with the school to call the admissions office and start asking questions.
