Mothers who were working, but became housewives: was no effect on the behavior of your child?
I quit my job having worked in the past year and a half. My son has mental diagnosis as bipolar disorder, ADHD and cognitive impairment. He has had serious behavioral problems at home and school. I hope to be home with him, more time in the evenings to be with him, will have a positive effect on behavior. I wonder if other mothers went to work to stay home and what the effects were in children?
after working many years as single parent i did the same and even after having to take a lifestyle change that it was all for the better. My son has had a tremendous change.He also has bipolar syndrome Asperger. He has earned a mom to support him academically emotionally physically. He went from being two grades behind special education at the time of being in mainstream secondary school in a B average in grade 10. So I say good for you.
